Verbrick, Dennis E. Dennis E. Verbrick, 68, of De Pere, passed away Monday, April 16, 2007, peacefully at home. Dennis was born January 27, 1939, in Appleton. He was the son of the late Edward and Evelyn (Huss) Verbrick. He was a 1961 graduate of St. Norbert College and served in the U.S. Army. Dennis married Sheila Trettin on November 16th, 1961, at Sacred Heart Church in Appleton. He was employed at IBM Corporation for 28 years, retiring in 1991. He worked most recently at Streu's Pharmacy. Dennis enjoyed his yard, grilling, the Packers and watching sporting events. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sheila, De Pere; three children: Michael Verbrick, Minneapolis, and his children, Gemma and Piper and their mother Kelly; Vicci Daniels (fiance Michael Gaestel), Green Bay, and her children, Ben and Will; Melissa Zielke (Jeremy), Madison, and their daughter Olivia; two sisters-in-law, Arlene Trettin, Sherwood and Peggy (Mark) Casey, Kaukauna; nieces, nephews; other relatives and special friends Brian and Mary Thomson.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Thomas Trettin.
Friends may call at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 1307 Lourdes Ave, De Pere, on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of services. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Friday at the church with Fr. Tim Shillcox presiding. Entombment in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. Proko-Wall Funeral Home is assisting the family.
