Many will remember the fun get-togethers over the years he and Shirley hosted. Romie had a natural gift for making friends everywhere he went with his engaging sense of humor. He had a great love of cars, fishing, boating, golf and playing spider solitaire on the computer. He was very active in the Stuart Corvette Club in Florida. Romie cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren playing poker and swimming in the pool at his home in Florida. He also thoroughly enjoyed following his grandchildren's sporting events.
