    • Tom Dachelet was born in Appleton, WI, and passed away in his home in Squaw Valley, CA. He honorably retired as a Senior Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force following 22 years of service. He earned a Master's degree in 1976, and worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor and Vocational Expert until his retirement in 2016. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Ellen; his father, Hector Thomas; his brother William; and his ex-wife and life long friend Helen. His passing is remembered by their children, Elizabeth, David and wife Rachael, and William and wife Charlene; his seven grandchildren; and sisters, Mary Harris, and Margaret Driessen. A Memorial Mass will be offered at the St. Rita Indian Mission in Squaw Valley, CA, on Monday, March 20, 2017, at 6:30 p.m. A Military interment will be held at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at 2:30 p.m. His life and passing will be remembered by his many friends. Remembrances may be made to the St. Rita Indian Mission Building Fund, c/o St. Isidore Catholic Church, 480 Adams Ave., Orange Cove, CA 93646.
