    • RoseMary "Rosie" Greiner, 87, of Freedom, was welcomed into heaven by her husband on his birthday, Thursday, June 30, 2016. She was born in Rhinelander, WI on November 21, 1928, daughter of the late John and Anna (Arnoldussen) Bowers. On July 12, 1949, Rosie married Carl "Stoop" Greiner at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Freedom.

      Rosie enjoyed snowmobiling, golfing, bowling and knitting and crocheting things for others. She was an avid Brewers fan, and a Packers season ticket holder since the beginning. Rosie was known for having the best homemade buns in town! She was as excellent wife, mother and grandmother, and enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her children. She will be missed dearly.

      Rosie is survived by her eight children: Ann (Terry) Kloehn, and their family, Kurt (special friend Michelle), Kevin (special friend Kerry), Lori (Terry) and Todd (Theresa); Lynn Greiner and her son, Cody; Debbie Greiner; Bear (Kizzy) Greiner and their family, Colleen (Mark), Craig (Bonnie) and Christa (Jim); Tim "Heavy" (Ethel) Greiner and their family, Mick, Dawn, Janell (Peter), Ryan (Sara), Gigi and Kate; Mike (Shari) Greiner and their family, Nick (Kristen), Aren "A.J." (Heather) and Heather (Kyle); Laurie (Jerry) Tank and their family, Jerimiah (fiancé Ashley), Justin, Lee, Bob (Pam), Holly and Kelly; Lisa (Greg) Manteuffel and their family, Brent (special friend Alyssa) and Ben; many great grandchildren: siblings: Dan (Elaine) Bowers, Helen Dachelet and Glen (Joy) Bowers; brothers and sisters-in-law: Joann Bowers, Bill, Ron "Hump" (Vonny), Bob "Beaver" (Vionne) and Jim (Sharon) Greiner; and many other family members and friends.

      Rosie was preceded in death by her husband, Stoop; her parents; mother and father-in-law, Carl and Frances Greiner; granddaughter, Mary Ann; great granddaughter, Makaya; siblings: Harvey (Joan) Bowers, Vernon Bowers and Joyce (Tom) Broeren; brothers and sisters-in-law: Bill Dachelet, Dorothy (Bill) Gonnering and Ila Greiner.

      Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, W2037 County Road S, Freedom, with Fr. Walter Stumpf officiating. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the Mass. Interment will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
