    • Age 83, passed away Thursday, December 06, 2001 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, following a brief illness. Hilda was born in Greenville on July 20, 1918, daughter of the late Albert and Bertha (Woebeck) Remter. On July 28, 1942, she married Carl Hermans who preceded her in death on November 28, 1969.

      Hilda was a longtime and faithful member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Kaukauna and is survived by two sons: Carl (Carol) Hermans of Kaukauna and Jim (Sue) Hermans of New London; a daughter: Margaret (Ray) Frederickson of Kaukauna; nine grandchildren: Ray Frederickson, Jr., Wayne Frederickson, Kathy Tischer, Deb Beyer, Scott Frederickson, Jason Hermans, Stacy Wianecki, Tracie Hinaus, and Laura Hermans. Hilda is further survived by numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carl in 1969, a daughter Nancy Hermans in 1991, a brother Wilbert (Helen) Remter, and sisters Sadie Remter, Hazel Remter, and Irma (Irvin) Finke.

      Memorial services will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, December 8, 2001 at TRINITY EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 804 Grignon Street in Kaukauna with Rev. Ronald Raddatz officiating. Inurnment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 12:30 PM until the hour of the service.
