    • Richard H Hietpas, age 80, of Little Chute, entered eternal life with our dear Lord on March 12, 2015, at his home. He was born on March 31, 1934 to Peter J and Minnie (Hendricks) Hietpas in Little Chute. He grew up in Little Chute and attended St. Johns church where he was baptized and confirmed. He also attended St. John's school. He was employed at Popps Cement & Tile in Appleton for 42 years until he retired. He was an avid volunteer at church and an active member of the Knights Of Columbus and American Legion.

      He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

      Richard is survived by his two sisters and three brothers: Lavern (Jerome) Hermsen of West Hartford Connecticut, Leroy (Carol) Hietpas of Little Chute, Duaine Hietpas of Libertyville, Illinois, Karen (Tom) Fronczak of Evanston Illinois, Lloyd ( Frances) Hietpas of Kimberly; two aunts and two uncles: Angela and Sylvester Geurts of Kaukauna, Theresa Schmidt of Kaukauna and Henry Hendricks of Kaukauna; 13 nieces and nephews: Michael (Julie) Hermsen, Mark (Kelli) Hermsen, Karen (Bob) Houvener, Matthew (Michelle) Hermsen, Jerome (Jackie) Hermsen Jr, Elizabeth (Dan Dietz) Hermsen, Andrew Hietpas, Sally (Rodney) Legleiter, Daniel Fronczak, Rachel Fronczak, Timothy (Lori) Hietpas, Tammy Hietpas and Travis (Hiliary) Hietpas; 22 great nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends.

      Richard was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Jerome Hermsen.

      Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2015, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 323 S. Pine Street, Little Chute, with Fr. Ron Belitz officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the Mass. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute.
