      Died at Neenah at 4 o'clock this morning after a two week illness. He was born November 27, 1915, at Kaukauna and lived there all his life. He was a member of the American Legion, Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Moose Lodge. He served 4 1/2 years in the Coast Guard in World War II.

      Survivors include the widow; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter West, Kaukauna; and six sisters, Mrs. John Kerscher, Mrs. Thuston Lambie, Mrs. Edmond Grode and Mrs. Arlene Van Handel, all of Kaukauna; Mrs. Roy Cheslock, Neenah; and Mrs. Edward Holum, Wichita, Kansas.

      Friends may call after 7:30 tonight at Fargo's Funeral Home, Kaukauna. The rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tonight and Thursday night. The cortege will form at 9 o'clock Friday morning and services will be conducted at 9: 30 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna by the Rev. Andrew Quella, pastor. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Members of the Kaukauna American Legion Post will conduct services at the grave.
