    • Lois Randerson, of Freedom, age 85, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at Grand Horizons, Appleton. She was born June 1, 1925, in Juneau, Wisconsin, the daughter of Oscar and Myrtle (Rambow) Lange. Lois married William James Randerson on June 1, 1949, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom. Lois remained a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church before retiring to Shawano with her husband, William, in 1992. While living there, Lois attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Shawano, and St. Martin Catholic Church, Cecil. Lois and William owned and operated a dairy farm in Freedom for 25 years. Lois was also employed as a teacher's aide in the Freedom School District for 24 years. Her pride and joy was their homestead on Shawano Lake. Lois enjoyed fishing, going for pontoon rides, doing crafts, and playing dominos, bean bag, smear and sheepshead. She always looked forward to spending time with her family and friends, but especially the visits she received from her great-grandchildren.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband, William, on June 2, 2010.

She is further survived by her children: Judy (Ken) Lautenslager, DePere; Nancy (Mike) Vosters, Freedom; Connie Huss, Freedom; grandchildren: Bryan (Staci) Rohm, Stacy (Adam) Landsverk, Kyle (Cathy) Vosters, Ryan Huss, Nicole (Gordon) Vandenberg; and great grandchildren: Ben, Hailey, Jadyn, Peighton, Max and Sam; a brother-in-law, Dwain Jenkins, Randolph; two sisters-in-law: Mary Therese (Dan) Schuh, Darboy; Anaceil Randerson, Appleton; and many nieces and nephews.

Lois was also preceded in death by her parents; four sisters: Geraldine Jenkins, Audrey (Arnold) Soldner, Willa Belle Hearld, Laverne (Hilbert) Graunke, and a brother, Radford Lange.

The funeral service for Lois will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, April 11, 2011, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, W2037 County Road S, Freedom, with Father Dave Hoffman officiating. Interment will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Freedom. Visitation will be Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in Lois's name.

The family would like to thank Michelle and the staff at Grand Horizons, along with Southern Care Hospice and staff, especially Jody and Chaplain Brad, for their wonderful care and compassion given to Lois. They also wish to thank all those who were part of her life. Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated.
