    • Carol Mary Glodowski, 68, of Woodlawn, VA passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2016 peacefully in her own home.

      She was born February 6, 1948 in Appleton, Wisconsin. She is preceded in death by her father, William Schumacher.

      Mrs. Glodowski graduated from Xavier High School in Wisconsin. Carol enjoyed animals and renovating farm houses in her spare time.

      She had an adventurous outdoor spirit; kayaking, hiking, and biking on the New River.

      Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Michael Glodowski of Woodlawn, VA; sons, Mark Glodowski of Depere, WI and Scott Glodowski of Milwaukee, WI; daughters, Sara Hofer of Acton, MT and Lisa Marie Glodowski of McCall, ID; grandchildren Ashely Glodowski, Owen Glodowski, Maddeline Glodowski, Becca Glodowski, Cody Hofer, Courtney Hofer, and Carlee Hofer; mother, Delia Hauser; sisters Patti Hutter and Delores Gottschalk.

      A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, April 8, 2016 at St Joseph Catholic Church, Woodlawn, VA beginning at 9am. A reception will follow the services. Father Tony will be officiating.

      Memorial Service will be held in Wisconsin at a later date.
