- Peter Nienhaus, 62, route 3, Appleton, died at home about 3 o'clock this morning after a long illness. Born March 24, 1889, at Freedom, he was a lifelong resident of Outagamie county. He was a member of the Holy Name society of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Catholic War Veterans. He served in the armed forces in World War I. Survivors are two brothers, Michael, Seymour, and Frank, Escanaba, Mich., and five sisters, Mrs. Charles Radtke, Mrs. Frank Appleton, Mrs. Melvin Grootemont, Mrs. John Haug, all of Appleton and Mrs. Ernest Paltzer, route 3, Appleton. Friends may call the Ellenbecker Funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening. The rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tonight and Sunday night. The cortege will form at the funeral home at 9:30 Monday morning and proceed to St. Joseph church where services will be conducted at 10 o'clock.
