      Ernest Paltzer

      Ernest Paltzer, 41, route 3, Appleton, died at 8:15 Tuesday evening after an illness of six days

      Paltzer, who was born in 1892 in the town of Grand Chute, was a private in Battery E. 1st regime F. A. R. D., during the World War and was a member of the ?? Johnson post of the American Legion. He also was a member of the Holy Name society, St. Therese church. Survivors are his widow, one son, Ernest, four brothers, John, Nick and Jacob, Grand Chute; Mathew, Appleton; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Olsen, Miss Anna Paltzer, Chicago, Mrs. Henry Griesbach, Appleton. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 Friday morning at his residence, at 10 o'clock at St. Therese church. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery. The Holy Name society will hold a prayer service at 8:30 Wednesday evening and Thursday evening at the residence.
