  April 17, 2007 Tennessen, Gladys M. Gladys M. Tennessen, Menasha, age 80, passed away on Friday April 13, 2007 at her home, following a courageous battle with cancer. Gladys was born October 26, 1926 in Little Chute, the daughter of the late William and Cornelia (DeBruin) Kobussen. She married James W. Tennessen on October 25, 1947 at St. John Catholic Church in Little Chute. He preceded her in death on July 16, 2006. Gladys is survived by her children: Tim Tennessen, Washington; Mark (Sue) Tennessen, Appleton; Mary (Jim) McFarland, Iron River; Suzie (Mike) Reiter, Neenah; seven grandchildren: Lea Anne (Scott) Hoelzel, Sarah (Jamin) Bowen, Matthew (Kati) Reiter, Erik Reiter, Jessica (Justin) McClure, Jacob (Katie) Tennessen, Andrew Tennessen and six great-grandchildren: Kiela, Jarik, Jaina, Levi, Samara and Adaiah. She is also survived by two sisters: Lucina Wydeven, Kimberly, and Annacile (Henry) Gajewski, Stevens Point, several nieces and nephews. Gladys was preceded in death by two brothers: Albert Kobussen and Robert Kobussen; her sister, Eileene Tennessen, and her brother-in-law, Vincent Wydeven. The memorial mass for Gladys will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at 11 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, 516 De Pere St., Menasha. Family and friends will be received at the church on Wednesday morning from 10 a.m. until the hour of the memorial mass. Lunch will follow at the church. She graduated from St. John H igh School. She married James Tennessen on October 23, 1947 at St. John Catholic Church in Little Chute. Gladys had six great grandchildren: Kiela, Jarik, Jaina, Levi, Samara, and Adiah. She had eight grandchildren: Leanne, Sarah, Bowen, Matthew, Erik, Jessica, Jacob, and Andrew. Gladys had five children: Tim, Mark, Mary, Jim, Suzie. On Friday, April 13, 2007 at the age of 80 Gladys battled cancer, however, died from it. Maria Strick, 2008
