- Jack fought a courageous two-year battle with cancer, until he passed away at the age of 67. He put up a good fight. Jack was born July 17, 1943, in Appleton. Jack worked at Fox River Paper serving as local union president for an unprecedented 24 years until he retired to Casa Grande, AZ, in 2005. He enjoyed 4 wonderful years of retirement bowling and golfing. Jack loved music and had a collection of 6,000 songs on his iPod. He acted as DJ for some of the community's social events. Jack loved getting together with friends to play games; his favorite being Pegs and Jokers.
Jack was a loving, caring husband and father. He was sensitive and kind. He will be greatly missed by: his wife Mary, son Terry and his fiancee Tammy, son Eric and precious wife Jennifer, daughter Leah, three grandchildren, Jennifer, Drew and Hayden, brother Jim (Marie) and sister Pat. Words cannot express the void he will leave behind.
A memorial service is being planned for the week of July 24.
