- Mrs. Joseph (Augusta) Klarner
Mrs. Joseph (Augusta Pingel) Klarner, 87, Rt. 1, Black Creek, died Thursday afternoon in a Green Bay hospital. The daughter of the late August and Lena Fischer was born Dec. 16, 1894 in Fremont and was a lifelong resident of Black Creek and the Township of Cicero area.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Black Creek.
On June 25, 1913 she married Christ Pingel. He preceded her in death in 1952. On Oct. 12, 1966 she married Joseph Klarner.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph; one step-son and daughter-in-law, Lloyd and Virginia Klarner; one stepdaughter and son-in-law, Helen and Ferdinand VanEperen, both of Appleton; 12 grandchildren; one step-grandson; 23 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ellia Raether, Seymour; two brothers, Otto Fischer, Black Creek; Richard Fischer, Green Bay.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Raymond, Maynard and Harold; one daughter-in-lw, Fern; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild and one brother.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Luthean Church, Black Creek. Funeral 11 a.m. Monday at the church with the Rev. Arden Wood officiating. Burial in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Cicero.
