      Weyers, Robert L.
      Robert L. Weyers, 66, Plains, Mont., passed away Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008, in his home from pancreatic cancer. Bob was born Sept. 18, 1941, in Price County Wis., to Ben and Clara Weyers. He graduated from Freedom High School in 1959 and married Donna Vande Hey on July 1, 1961, in Freedom, Wis. They moved to Missoula, Mont., in 1967. Bob's most recent favorite included time with grandchildren, fishing and raising longhorn cattle. Plains has been Bob's primary residence for the last 15 year while enjoying the winters in Yuma, Ariz.
      Bob is survived by his wife of 47 years, Donna, Plains, Mont.; daughter, Lisa Read and husband, David and children, Joshua, Brandon and Jessica; son, Dave and children, Wyatt and Jake, all of Plains, Mont.; son, Sam and wife, Julie, and children, Taylor and Trevor, Florence. He is also survived by two brothers, Len and Ron.
      He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Shirley Vandenberg and brother, Richard.
      In keeping with Bob's wishes, his body was donated to the WWAMI Body Donation Program through Montana State University for medical education.
      A memorial service will be held on Friday, Sept. 19, 2008, at 4 p.m. at Sunset Hills Funeral Homes in Plains, Mont. A potluck reception will follow at Plains Alliance Church. The family suggests memorial contributions to Clark Fork Valley Hospice at Box 768, Plains, MT 59859, or charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Hills Funeral Homes of Plains & Thompson Falls.
