Mrs. Rosella Verkuilen 907 Draper St. Kaukauna
Age 75, died Saturday, January 6, 1990, at Appleton Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born February 26, 1914 in Kaukauna the daughter of the late Carlton and Bertha [Dreger] Trettin. Rosella was a very loving and giving person who enjoyed spending time at the cottage with family and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed and always missed in hearts of those who loved her. She was a member of the Immanuel United Church of Christ. She was a superintendent of the Sunday Church School, had been a Sunday School teacher, and was on the board of Christian Education, was a member of the Women's Guild and the Prayer Circle and was also a communion steward.
She is survived by two daughters and a son in-law, Marlene Verkuilen of Kaukauna; and Elizabeth and Thomas Birschbach of New Holstein; two grandchildren, Allen and Sara Birschbach; two brothers and sisters in-law, Carlton and Leola Trettin of Appleton; and Marvin and Lois Trettin of Kaukauna; and two sisters and brothers in-law, Viola and Herman Sasanoski and Charlotte and Clarence Frievel, all of Kaukauna.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo, in 1986, and a sister and brother in-law, Beatrice and Edward Sasnowski. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Fargo Funeral Home, Kaukauna with the pastor Harvey Kandler officiating. Burial will be in the Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. Friends may call at the Fargo Funeral Home, 400 W. Wisconsin Ave., from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. A memorial fund has been established for the Immanual United Church of Christ Church School Bibles.
