Thomas A. Vander Linden 525 N. Samson, Appleton
Age 61, died Wednesday, March 25, 1992 at Appleton Medical Center after many physical illinesses. Tom was born August 9, 1930 in Appleton, son of the late Charles and Irene Vander Linden. He served in the National Guard, a member of the American Legion, Appleton, a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the church choir. Tom was a very avid Cubs fan and greatly enjoyed walking and cribbage.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, 'Sparky' [Ethel]. two daughters, Mary [Charlie] Vander Linden-Bach, Portland, Oregon; Annie Vander Linden, Indianapolis, Indiana; four sons, Jerry [Karen] Mazomanie, Wisconsin; Brad [Pam], Madison; William, New Mexico; John, Newport News, Virginia; a brother, Robert [Betty] Vander Linden, Appleton; a sister, Marge [Paul] Nespodzany, Appleton; two grandchildren, Ayron and Ian Vander Linden, Madison; also nieces and nephews and other relatives and many dear friends.
A memorial Mass will be held Saturday, March 28, 1992 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 312 S. State St., Appleton with the Revs. Michael O'Rourke and Gerald Falk officiating. Per Toms request there will be no visitation. Friends may call at the church Saturday for the memorial mass. The Wichmann Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
