    • Dorothy Van Sistine

      A joyous celebration of the lives of Dick and Dorothy Van Sistine was held with a Mass of Christian Burial on Sunday June 23 (the anniversary of Dick's birthday) following the death of Dorothy. Dorothy joined the love of her life on June 19, 2014. She was 96 years old. She was a devoted mother of 7, grandmother of 24 and great-grandmother of 24. She was preceeded in death by her husband Dick, son Tim, parents Henry and Marie Peters, and a great granddaughter. She is survived by her sons Ric (Beckie), Dan (Sue), Pete (Mary), Mike (Debbie), daughters Ann Geurts (Mike), Mary Graff (Brad), their families and her sister, Theresa Otis.

      The family would like to thank the staff of St. Paul's Elder Care for the awesome and loving care that she received.

      A memorial is being established for Xavier High School and St. Paul's Elder Care.
