    • Frederickson, Genevieve M. (Mrs. Harold Frederickson) Genevieve M. Frederickson (Mrs. Harold Frederickson) 68, Appleton, died Friday April 9, 2004 at Appleton Medical Center after a short illness. Genevieve was born in Kaukauna on July 24, 1935, to the late Joseph and Whilemena (Ebben) Steffens, and has lived in the Fox Valley area all of her life. On May 12, 1956, she was united in marriage to Harold P. Frederickson at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kaukauna, and the couple has enjoyed 48 years together. Genevieve worked at Fox River Paper Co. for 26 years, retiring in 1999. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Harold, Appleton; two sons, Gregory (Ramona) Frederickson, Hortonville; and Guy (Kathy) Frederickson, Freedom. two daughters, Gwenn Baumann, Appleton; and Karen (Keith) Kabat, Neenah; seven grandchildren, Jonathan, Michael, and Alicia Frederickson, Hortonville; Katie and Kelly Frederickson, Freedom; Tyler and Nicholas Kabat, Neenah; two brothers, George (Gina) Steffens, Fond du Lac; and Melvin (Beverly) Steffens, Madison; two sisters, Florence Bodde, Kaukauna; and Lorry Corby, Rhinelander; five brothers-in-law, Raymond (Margaret) Frederickson, Kaukauna; Donald (Carol) Frederickson, Hollandtown; Richard (Evelyn) Frederickson, Kaukauna; Kenneth (Janet) Frederickson, Darboy; and Vernon (Carol) Frederickson, Kaukauna; one sister in law, Phyllis Janssen, Combined Locks. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and special friends. Genevieve is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Sister Jane Francis and Sister Mary Leonore; seven brothers, Vincent, Francis, Nicholas, Peter, Richard, William, and John Steffens; a grandson, Joshua Kabat; and a brother-in-law, George Bodde. A funeral service for Genevieve will be held 7 p.m. on Wednesday April 14, at the Brettschneider Trettin Lederer Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Janet Frederickson officiating.
