Grandma Nettie

Age 95, died following a short illness on Sunday, August 6, 2000. She was born on January 13, 1913, in Kaukauna, the daughter of the late Theodore and Anna (Weyenberg) Williams. Nettie enjoyed the many years she spent working on the farm in the Town of Center with her husband, Raymond. He preceded her in death in 1971. She is survived by Mary Ann (Kitzinger) Jansen, her daughter who she made her home with for the past thirty years; Vernon (Dolores) Blodgett, a special nephew who from 18 months of age was raised by Nettie and Ray as a son. Nettie is further survived by two grandchildren, Dennis (Joyce) Jansen and Patricia (Ron) Fink; seven great-grandchildren, Cheri Andres, Brenda (Rick) Haase, Dan (Donna) Jansen, Hayley Jansen, Randy (Connie) Fink, Dan (Cheryl) Fink, Mike (Selina) Fink; ten great-great-grandchildren, Robin, Rachel, Bryn, Erin, Aubrey, Kassina, Travis, Brandon, Calicia and Russell. Nettie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Raymond, a son-in-law, Vincent G. Jansen in 1977 and a grandson, James R. Jansen in 1997. The funeral liturgy will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 8, 2000 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Combined Locks, the Reverend Robert Vandenberg officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Black Creek. Friends may call directly at the church on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of mass.
Grandma spent endless hours tatting book marks to share with friends, we will all miss her so much.
Grandma Nettie touched so many lives and was loved by everyone who met her. The kids all knew Grandma had cookies and milk for them when they visited.
