Age 66, died at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 11, 1986 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, following a short illness. She was born February, 28, 1920 in Appleton where she has been a resident all of her life. She was an avid bowler belonging to several leagues in the area. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, Darboy, a 50 year member of the Catholic Knights, a a member of the Darboy Elders.
Survivors include a daughter and son in-law, Lynn and Steve Wiegman, Kimberly; two sons and a daughters in-law, Dennis and Barb Dietzen, Darboy; Tom Dietzen, Appleton; and four grandchildren; Tim and Jenny Dietzen, Amy and Katie Wiegman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anton in 1980; a brother, William in 1980 and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob [Theresa] Ashauer.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, 1986 at Holy Angels Catholic Church, Darboy with Father Elroy Reimer officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Appleton from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. Wednesday until the cortege leaves for the church. A parish prayer and scripture service will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. A memorial fund is being established.
