Hartzheim, Genevieve (Jenny) Arnoldussen Genevieve (Jenny) Arnoldussen Hartzheim, Kaukauna, age 74, died on Sunday, August 20, 2006, at Colony Oak Care Center. Jenny was born at home in Kaukauna on February 14, 1932, to the late Lucy and Edward Arnoldussen. On May 17, 1958, she married Marvin Hartzheim at St. Mary's Church in Kaukauna. Besides working full and part time at Piggly Wiggly, Jenny volunteered at Kaukauna Community Hospital and St. Paul's Home. As a member of St. Aloysius church she volunteered for the Christmas and Funeral choir, Eucharistic Minister, Den Mother for a Cub Scout Group and at funeral dinners. Jenny was devoted to her daily prayers. She loved to play cards and walk especially with her sister Eunice, deceased.
Jenny is survived by husband, Marvin; three sons: Gary, Guy, and Michael; two granddaughters: Olivia Marie and Gina Ann, all of Kaukauna; her sisters: Theresa Rosenthal, Brillion; Phyllis Van Derraa, Kaukauna; Sister Mary Arnoldussen, Menasha; brothers: John Arnoldussen, Palm Springs, CA; Joseph Arnoldussen, Appleton; Ervin Arnoldussen, Kaukauna; Dale Arnoldussen, Kaukauna; sisters-in-law: Jan Arnoldussen, Wild Rose; Pat Arnoldussen, Donna Arnoldussen and Mary Arnoldussen, all of Kaukauna; brothers-in-law: Gene Onkels and Marvin Van Deraa, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucy and Edward Arnoldussen, sisters: Bernice Effa Harris, Gladys Sack, and Eunice Onkels; brothers: Gerald Arnoldussen and Clayton Arnoldussen; sisters-in-law: Joyce Arnoldussen, Carol Arnoldussen, and Cathy Arnoldussen, brothers-in-law: Frank Effa, Ben Harris, Gus Sack, and Walter Rosenthal, four nieces, three nephews, three great nieces and two great nephews.
Jenny's funeral service will be 4 p.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2006, at ST. ALOYSIUS CATHOLIC CHURCH in Kaukauna with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 1 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established. Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna is assisting the family.
Marvin and his sons would like to thank the Special Unit at Colony Oak Care Center for their great care they extended to Jenny throughout her illness.
