- Marvin R. Hartzheim, Kaukauna, age 88, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Parkside Care Center, Little Chute. He was born May 29, 1925, son of the late Peter and Mary (Luniek) Hartzheim. Marvin was a WWII Army Veteran serving in Greenland and Japan. He was employed by Thilmany Paper Co. his entire working career until his retirement. On May 17, 1958 he was united in marriage to Genevieve "Jenny" Arnoldussen at St. Mary Church in Kaukauna and together they celebrated 57 years of marriage.
He is survived by his three sons: Gary, Guy, and Michael; two granddaughters: Olivia and Gina; a brother, Lester Hartzheim; a sister, Gertrude Raymaker; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Sr. Mary Arnoldussen, Phyllis Van Deraa, Ervin (Donna) Arnoldussen, Dale (Mary) Arnoldussen, Pat Arnoldussen, John Arnoldussen, Joseph Arnoldussen, and Jan Arnoldussen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jenny in 2006, brothers and sisters: Vincent (Vonnie), Bea (Paul) Ashauer, Bernice (Arnold) Coonen, Larry Hartzheim, Mabel (Clint) Kohl, Agnes Van Rossum, Peter Hartzheim; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Virginia Hartzheim, Joe Raymaker, Theresa (Walter) Rosenthal, Gene (Eunice) Onkels, Marvin Van Deraa, Bernice Effa (Ben) Harris, Gladys (Gus) Sack, Gerald Arnoldussen, Clayton Arnoldussen, Joyce (John) Arnoldussen, Carol (Joe) Arnoldussen, Cathy (Joe) Arnoldussen, and Frank Effa.
The Mass of Christian Burial for Marvin will be at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH at St. Aloysius Site, 2401 Main Ave., Kaukauna with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Friends may call on Monday, February 24, 2014 at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 pm., with a parish prayer service at 7:00 p.m. concluding the evening. Friends may call again on Tuesday directly at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Full Military Rites will take place at church following mass.
