- Mrs. Peter Vande Wettering, 85, formerly of Van Asten Road, Freedom, died Saturday, Nov. 9, 1996 at St. Paul Home, Kaukauna, following a short illness. She was born December 29, 1910 in De Pere, the daughter of the late George and Lena (Janssen) Van Dyck. She lived and farmed in the Town of Freedom most of her life. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom, and its Christian Mothers Society and the Freedom Golden Agers..
She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Ken and Lois Van De Wettering, Freedom; Norbert and Myrt Van De Wettering, Freedom; William "Wimp" and Judy Vande Wettering, Freedom; Peter and Marie Vande Wettering, Mackville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jean and Donald Fox, Freedom; Kay and Wayne La Count, Oneida; 23 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Ivan Adrian, Fond du Lac..

Due to the renovation of the Greenwood-Fargo Funeral Home, friends may call at Fargo Funeral Home, 400 W. Wisconsin Ave., Kaukauna, from 4 to 8 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church until time of services. There will be a parish prayer service at 8 p.m. tonight.
