  • Notes
    • On July 21, 1957, Lee Ann (Hartzheim) Steffens was born to Leon and Lillian Hartzheim. She was raised in Darboy, the second child of a family of nine children. Lee Ann passed to eternal life on the morning of Wednesday, June 28, 2017.

On October 2, 1982 Lee Ann married Marc Steffens at Holy Cross Church in Kaukauna. Marc and Lee Ann made their home in Brookfield and later in Pewaukee. Together they lovingly raised their two children: son, Reed Steffens, and daughter, Paige Steffens.

Lee Ann was a very creative person. Her career was focused on being a "Pink Cadillac" Director for Mary Kay Cosmetics. She later used her talents to create beautiful pieces of jewelry which she successfully marketed. Much of Lee Ann's time was spent volunteering for various ministries at Elmbrook Church. The ministry that was dearest to Lee Ann's heart was her Parrot Presentation which she used to entertain at gatherings and raise awareness for Anorexia and Bulimia.

Lee Ann is survived by her husband of 35 years, Marc; their children: Reed and Paige. She is also survived by her father, Leon Hartzheim, Darboy; her siblings and their children: Mary (Allen) Ver Voot, Madison; Ellen (Robert) Nunberg, Minnesota; Mark (Kay) Hartzheim, Kaukauna; Beth (Jon) Wittmann, Menasha; Kay Metko, Tennessee; Maury (Carrie) Hartzheim, Kaukauna; Cliff (Kay) Hartzheim, Kaukauna; Fred (Lori) Hartzheim, Germantown.

She is also survived by Marc's siblings: Marlene (James) Kilsdonk, Darboy; Sharon Huss, Kaukauna; Linda Waters, Little Chute; Gary (Berne) Steffens, Little Chute.

Lee Ann was preceded in death by her Mother, Lillian Hartzheim, father and mother-in-law, Vincent and Lucy Steffens, a sister-in-Law Bonnie (Robert) Driessen and a brother-in-law Lee Steffens.

A gathering for Lee Ann will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Spring Creek Church, N35 W22000 Capitol Drive, Pewaukee. Visitation will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will conclude with a Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. For online condolences, please visit www.verkuilenfh.com.
