      Hietpas, Marie C. Marie Hietpas, 92, Kaukauna, formerly of Little Chute, died on her birthday with her family by her side, Friday, December 28, 2007, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was born December 28, 1915, daughter of John and Adrianna (Vander Klindert) Vande Corput. Marie married Joseph Hietpas June 24, 1937, and he preceded her in death December 19, 1973. Mrs. Hietpas was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute, where she was also a member of their choir, altar society and mission club. She was also involved with meals on wheels. Marie was an excellent seamstress who enjoyed traveling, playing cards and bowling. Mrs. Hietpas enjoyed helping others and was generous with her time and talents. Marie loved her family and grandchildren.

      Marie is survived by her children: Gerald (Rita) Hietpas, Lakeway, TX; Shirley (Richard) Mader, Appleton; Gilbert (Mary) Hietpas, Fond du Lac; Vincent (Cheri) Hietpas, Forest Junction; Theresa (Richard) Schlack, Oshkosh; Glenn Hietpas, Appleton; 20 grandchildren: Joan Miller, Timothy (Jeanne) Hietpas, Diane (Richard) Brumley, Donna Salvador, Janet Jeter, Craig (Bari) Mader, Jeanne Mader, Doreen (Terry) Trombley, Michael (Beth) Mader, Michelle (Lee) Talbott, David (Wendy) Mader, Jeffrey (Amy) Hietpas, Alan Hietpas, Gregory (Beth) Hietpas, Amy (James) Hostettler, Travis Hietpas, Ryan Schlack, Adam Schlack, Eric Hietpas, Zachary Hietpas; 25 great grandchildren; two brothers and a sister: Joseph (Laverne) Vande Corput, Pulaski; Dorothy (Marcus) Roskom, Little Chute; John (Peggy) Vande Corput, Seymour; two sisters-in-law: Sylvia Vande Corput, Seymour; Kay Vande Corput, Isaar; a brother-in-law, Mike Henn, Seymour; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

      She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Adrianna Vande Corput; a grandson, Daniel Mader; brothers and sisters: Frank (Esther) Vande Corput, Anna Rutledge, Augusta (Ben) Schweiner, Margaret (Ernest) Janssen, Cecelia (Lawrence) Waller, Martin (Kathryn) Vande Corput, Norbert Vande Corput, Herbert (Dorothy) Vande Corput, Josephine Henn; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

      Funerals services will be held at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 2007, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church with Fr. James Hablewitz officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. Friends may call at the Verkuilen Funeral Home from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.

      Marie's family wishes to thank St. Paul Home and staff along with Marie's befriender, Carolyn, for their loving care and comfort.
