Age 66, died Thursday, August 16, 1984 at 7:15 p.m. after a short illness. He was born April 10, 1918 in the Town of Ellington and farmed until 1966 following that he was the owner and operator of Floyd and Babe's Tavern, Mackville. He was a member of St. Edward Church Mackville.
Survivors include four daughters; Mrs. Bing [Cathy] Romenesko, Mrs. Cal [Mary] Bogenschultz, all of Rt. 3, Appleton; Mrs. Tony [Connie] Tatar, Kingsforth, Michigan; Barb Warning, Rt. 2, Appleton; a son, Dan Reiland, Appleton; five brothers, Clifford, Melvin, George Jr., and Ronald, all of Appleton, Myron, Hortonville; four sisters, Mrs. Gerald [Delores] Brys, De Pere, Mrs. Loyal [Angeline] Leach, New London; Mrs. Wesley [Dolly] Rougeau, Pennsylvania; and Mrs. William [Carol Jean] Beschta, Black Creek; ten grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Babe [Murphy] Reiland, his parents, George and Delia Reiland, a granddaughter, Amy Bogenschultz; a sister, Arlawene Otto and a brother, Bobby Reiland.
The funeral service will be Monday 10 a.m. at St. Edward Catholic Church with Father Le Roy Hogan officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call at the Thomas -Ellenbecker Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Sunday and Monday from 8:30 a.m. until the cortege leaves for the church. The prayer service will be 8 p.m. Sunday.
