- Frank G. Ott, 86, of R. 1, Menasha, did Tuesday morning at Kaukauna Community Hospital after a long illness.
He was born August 14, 1895, in the town of Brillion, son of Henry and Mary Rehfeldt Ott. On June 17, 1920, he married Ada Broehm at Forest Junction. He farmed in the town of Brillion and Harrison, retiring in 1979.
He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Forest Junction and the Gideon Band Sunday School Class. He was a Sunday school teacher for many years, and was active in Community Affairs.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. James (Jean) Schmidt of R. 1, Menasha, and Mrs. Robert (Betty Ann) Von Haden of Wrightstown; one son, Silas of R. 1, Menasha and daughters-in-law, Adeline Ott, married to Silas, and Mrs. Frank (Helen) Krasniewski, Eau Claire; 19 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, a son, a great grandchild, five sisters and seven brothers.
Funeral services were held Thursday at Zion United Methodist Church, Forest Junction. The Rev. Mark Swanson, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Forest Home Cemetery.
