- Julie M. Riese (Drath), 57 years, passed away April 27, 2017 at Thedacare Regional Medical Center, Neenah. She was born on November 10, 1959 to her parents John J. and Sancee J. (Bergner) Riese in Appleton, Wisconsin. Julie enjoyed the outdoors at an early age and was an avid camper in her teens. She was a graduate of St. Mary High School - Menasha.
Julie was a devoted mother and grandmother. She worked in many different capacities. She shared her talent as a people person bartending, as a fast-food teammate, or working the grill. In her personal time she enjoyed going up-north spending time with family and friends boating, going to car shows or staying at a cabin. Most of all she loved doting on her grandchildren taking them to the park, going for ice cream or showing them her "Betty Boop" collection.
Julie will be missed by her children Tanya (Jayme) McQuillan, Shane (Angel) Bricco, and Benjamin (Heather) Bricco, mother Sancee J. Riese, grandchildren Annelise, Brianne McQuillan, Jessa, Skylar, Brad, Isabella, and Kellon Bricco, Alexis, Lydia, Nevaeh, and Maitland Bricco, siblings Chris Riese, David Riese, and Jeannie (Kevin) Stolzman and special friend Pat Van Daalwyk. Preceded in death by her father John J. Riese.
Family and friends may gather Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Wichmann-Fargo Tri-county Chapel, 1592 Oneida St., Menasha from 1 - 3 pm, with Memorial Service at 3 pm. Deacon Don Schultz presiding. Private inurnment.
In Lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Julie's name will be established.
