Schreiter, Dorothy M. Dorothy M. Schreiter, 74, of 939 S. 31st, Manitowoc, died Friday morning, May 19, 2006. Dorothy was born on April 24, 1932, in Little Chute, Wis., daughter of the late Adrian and Willamina (VannenBogart) VanderZanden. On May 12, 1953, she married James Wenzel Schreiter, in Appleton, Wis. He preceded her in death on December 8, 2002.
Survivors include, two sons and one daughter-in-law, Dave and Nadine Schreiter, Manitowoc; and Dennis Schreiter, Appleton; one daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Kevin Cousineau, Green Bay; five grandchildren, Anthony (Julie) Schreiter, Jeremiah Schreiter, Noah Cousineau, Amber (Bradley) Daugs, and Lydia Cousineau; one great-granddaughter, Taya Schreiter; one brother and four sisters-in-law, Joseph and Grace VanderZanden, Madison; Marion VanderZanden, Fond du Lac; Barb VanderZanden, Ollie VanderZanden, both of Little Chute; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Eugene and Delores Schreiter, Appleton. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
Dorothy is also preceded in death by, four brothers, Clarence, Cyril, Raymond, and Norbert VanderZanden; one sister, Ada Boldt; one sister-in-law, Mary VanderZanden.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2006, 6 p.m., at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc. Officiating will be Deacon Alan Boeldt. The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday May 23, 2006, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc from 4 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 6 p.m.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Kimberly, Wis. at a later date. The time and location will be announced by the the Pfeffer Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc.
