    • Kaukauna Times: Gina K Wittmann of N9487 County Trunk N, Darboy (Appleton), age 19, died suddenly Thursday, August 6, 1992 at St Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton following a congenital heart condition. She was born October 5, 1972, the daughter of Hugo & Mary Beth "Mackey" (Hartjes) Wittmann. Gina was a graduate of Kimberly High school, class of 1991 & of Gill-Tech School of Cosmotology. She was employed at Little Hearts Day Care Center, Darboy. Survivors include her parents Hugo & Jill (VanderZanden) Wittmann; her maternal grandmother Kay Hartjes , Little Chute; maternal step-grandfather Jack VanderZanden & Jeanne, little Chute; maternal step-grandmother, Lucille VanderZanden, Kimberly; 2 brothers Mark & Jacob wittmann, both of Darboy; a sister Michelle Wittmann & special friend Mike Dietz, Darboy; aunts & uncles: Tod & Betty Jane Van Thiel, Celine & & Bill Romenesko, all of Darboy; Lois Wittmann, Phoenix, AZ; Linda & Dave Schlegelmilch, Gail & Bob Salm, all of Appleton; Tim & Donna Hartjes, Kimberly; Chris & Sharon Hartjes, Appleton; Gina & Steve VanderWielen, Little Chute; Karen & Lee Reider, Appleton; Amy & Jerry Olson, Black Creek; Gary & Rose VanderZanden, Dan & Chris VanderZanden, all of Little Chute; Jay vanderZanden & Carol, Kimberly; & John VanderZanden, Wyoming, MI; special friends Sheila DeValk, Sara Van thiel, & Sara Van Asten & numerous cousins.She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Beth "Mackey" (Hartjes) Wittmann; her maternal grandfather Marvin "Doc" Hartjes; & her maternal grandmother Anna Wittmann Berling. Funeral services were at 11AM Saturday at Holy Angels Catholic Church, Darboy. Burial was in the parish cemetery. The Janssen-Fargo funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements. A memorial fund has been established for the Children's hospital, Milwaukee.
