      Teetzen, Gary A. Gary Teetzen, 64, of Menasha, died suddenly Friday, October 6, 2006, as a result of an automobile accident. Gary was born March 31, 1942, in Shawano to Reinhardt and Arlene (Erdmann) Teetzen.

      His parents died when he was young, and he was raised by guardians Oscar and Anita Hammer. Gary served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War, after his return, he married Elizabeth "Betty" Siebers in Menasha where they made a home together. Gary enjoyed hunting and fishing his land in Manawa, he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

      Gary is survived by his wife of 40 years, Betty, and their children, son Jeffrey (Laurie) Teetzen, Menasha and daughters Michelle (Dan) Danielson, Neenah and Sheila (Paul) Behle, Freedom; and six grandchildren, Alex, Stephanie, Nick, Alyssa, Tyler and Jason. He is further survived by brothers in law and sisters in law, Donna (Jim) Simon, Dale (Carol) Siebers, Carol (Tony) Mooren, Dennis (Jean) Siebers, and Gary (Gina) Siebers.

      Gary is preceded in death by his parents, his guardians and his sister in law Bernice Siebers.

      Funeral services for Gary will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2006, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Menasha. Family will receive visitors from 10 a.m. until the time of the service, also at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Menasha. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Menasha.

      The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the first responders, for their assistance to Gary.

      A memorial contribution in Gary's name will be made to American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer Research.
