  Loyd Porter, 921 Jefferson St, Menasha, age 54, passed away on Friday morning at Theda Clark Hospital following a lingering illness. He was born on June 15, 1920 in Mississippi and had lived in the Twin City area for the past 15 years. He was a chef for Butte des Morts Country Club and a World War II veteran. Survivors are his wife, Georgine; two daughters, Debra at home, and Mrs Richard (Sandra) Eisenach of Oshkosh; three sons, Michael, James and Timothy all at home; four brothers, Leon and Frank of Senatobia MS, John of Louisiana, and Robert of Seattle WA; and a sister. Friends may call at the Laemmrich Funeral Home from 4 until 9 p.m. on Sunday and on Monday until the hour of service which will be announced at a later date.
