    • Arthur A. Meulemans, Kaukauna, age 84, died Monday May 28, 2012 at Cherry Meadows Hospice with his family at his side. He was born to the late John and Anna (Greene) Meulemans on December 2, 1927 in the town of Kaukauna. Art married Marcella Beyer on September 23, 1976 at St. Paul Church in Wrightstown. He served his country in the Army during the Korean War and was a member of the Kaukauna V.F.W. Post 3319. Art enjoyed golfing, cribbage and raised poultry. His passion was sports and he was known to say, "There's always a good game on somewhere." Art was employed as a mechanic at Kobussen Bus for 31 years until his retirement in 1991.

      Art is survived by his wife Marcella; daughter Jenny Rice, Freedom; grandchildren: Matthew (Jamie) Rice and Amanda (Amro) Ali Taha; great-grandchildren: Michael and Jenna; sister Dorothy (Mark) Buchinger; brothers and sisters-in-law: Gerald Van Asten, Joyce Van Roy, Jackie Jones, Agnes Karner, Cathy (Roger) Erdmann, Pete (Barb), Charles (Rosemary), Alex, Edward (Judy), Janice and Doris Beyer. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

      In addition to his parents, Arthur was preceded in death by his daughter Carol Ann; son-in-law Daniel Rice; sisters Catherine Van Asten and Lucy Meulemans; and brothers and sister-in-law: Albert, Edmund and Judy Beyer, Robert Karner, Bernard Van Roy and Bill Jones.

      Visitation will be held Thursday May 31, 2012 at ST. CLARE CATHOLIC PARISH - WRIGHTSTOWN CHURCH (423 Main St. Wrightstown) beginning at 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 12:00 Noon. The Rev. Dennis Bergsbaken will officiate. Military rites conducted by the Kaukauna V.F.W. Post 3319 will immediately follow. Committal St. Paul Cemetery, Wrightstown.
