- Malinda M. Mader, age 90, went to her heavenly family on October 20, 2010. She was born July 17, 1920, to the late Adolph and Hannah (Mueller) Bloy. On January 25, 1941, she was united in marriage to Lawrence O. Mader and together they raised six children.
She will be dearly missed by her loving family that survive her: Bill (Arlene), Appleton; Marilyn Mader, Kimberly; Larry (Paula), Abbotsford; Rosie Rohm, Hortonville; Carol Carlsen, Jasper, GA; and Lynn Mader (Dick Underwood), Wickenberg, AZ; 12 grandchildren: Sue (Mark) Mauthe, Teri Leduc, Tina (Tim) Brandt, Bill Jr. (Kirsten) Mader, Chris (Kim) Vander Heyden, RoseAnn Goodwin, Budd Vander Heyden, Curt (Erika) Mader, Lori (Andy) Jurgensmier, Angie (John) Miller, Tony (Melanie) Mader, and Jeannine (Rich) Wilz; 32 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren: Stella and Tony Anderson; a sister, Margie Gresl, Appleton, 2 brothers: Leonard (Shirley) Bloy, Appleton and Adolph, Jr. (Charlotte) Bloy, Kaukauna; sisters-in-law: Elizabeth Bloy, Appleton, Pat Bloy, Kaukauna, Mabel De Graves, Green Bay; brothers-in-law: Donald (Phyllis) Mader, Darboy, and Hank Weyenberg, Little Chute. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence; a grandson, Jamie Jansen; brothers: Ralph (Gertrude), Donald, Raymond, and Benjamin Bloy; two sisters: Mildred (Everett) Wiegert and Florence Weyenberg; brothers-in-law: Ralph (Marie), Cyril (Eleanor), Jack (Helen), Arlen (Laverne), and Bob (Flo) Mader; and a sister-in-law, LaVerne (Leslie) Kasten.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 25, 2010, at ST. BERNADETTE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2331 E. Lourdes Dr., Appleton with Fr. Donald Zuleger officiating. Friends will be received on Sunday, October 24, 2010 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna and again directly at church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Malinda's name is being established. Burial will take place in Holy Angels Cemetery in Darboy.
