Notes - Little Chute woman killedin car crash
A 72-year-old Little Chute woman died Tuesday night after a two-car collisiion on U.S. 45 near Winnebago County Trunk G in the Town of Vinland.
She was Gertrude M. Van Schindel, 507 Vanden Broek St. She died at Theda Clark Memorial Hosptial, Neenah, at 8:42 p.m., according Winnebago County Coroner Duane Moore, of extensive pelvic fractures and a fractured nick.
Van Schindel was a passenger in a car driven by Joyce V. Melby, 49, 718 E. Marquette St., Appleton, who was treated and released at Theda Clark Tuesday night.
The driver of the other vehicle John A. Reamer, 31, route 1, Winneconne, who is at Theda Clark suffering from a fractured leg. He was expected to be released today.
Details of the accident were not available at mid morning.
