- Rita Leisgang, 82, Green Bay, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2011, at a local nursing home. She was born on June 6, 1928, in Shawano county, Wisconsin, to Walter and Helen (Miller) Piotrowski.
Rita is survived by ten children, Steve Leisgang and special friend Julie Caldie, Laura (Ed) Conboy, Janet Pryes, Bonnie (Dave) VandenBusch, Gordon (Juanita) Leisgang, Bernard Leisgang, Karen Montejano, Dennis (Charlotte) Leisgang, Mark Leisgang, Julie (Donald) Terrien; 27 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; a sister, Marion Nowicki; and brother, Eugene Piotrowski.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Louis and Alice; brothers-in-law, Leo and Donald Nowicki.
The family would like to thank Birch Creek Assisted Living, and Golden Living Nursing Home for all their care and concern given.
Visitation will take place Tuesday, June 7, 2011, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Lyndahl Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Wednesday, June 8, from 10 to 11 a.m. at St Michael's Catholic Church, 1782 Chappelle Rue Lost Dauphin Rd., De Pere, with Traditional Latin Requiem Mass 11 a.m. with the Rev. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Rita's name.
