    • BENOTCH, JERRY Little Chute

      Jerry Benotch, age 75, of Little Chute, died on Monday, June 13, 2005, at Parkside Care Center. Jerry was born on April 27, 1930, in Kaukauna, to the late Leo and Magdalene (Pennings) Benotch. He married Ruth R. Lappen in Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania, on November 23, 1951, she preceded him in death on April 17, 2002. Jerry loved old cars, antique radios and collecting coins. He was an avid Packer fan and nature lover. The 4th of July was his favorite holiday, as he loved fireworks. Jerry attended Holy Cross Grade School and Kaukauna High School. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Jerry was employed at International Papers for over 46 years, retiring from the Decorating Department in the spring of 1992. He was one of the oldest members of the Quarter Century Club at International Papers. Survivors include his children, Mary Ann Walton, Kaukauna; Paula Jean Benotch, Appleton; Rose Marie Benotch, Appleton; his brother, David Benotch, Kaukauna; and his sisters, Barbara Gossens, Sturgeon Bay and Carrie Sherrill, Forestville, Wisconsin. Funeral services will be at NOON on Wednesday, June 15, 2005, at WICHMANN FUNRAL HOME—Tri-County Chapel, Menasha, with Funeral Celebrant Pete Reinl officiating. Friends may call directly at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery, Kaukauna. A memorial has been established in Jerry’s name to benefit the Outagamie County Humane Society and the 1000 Island Nature Center.
