Age 74, died Tuesday, November 6, 2001, at Appleton Medical Center. Patricia was born on August 2, 1927, in Appleton to the late Oscar and Hazel (Olson) Miller. She married Robert W. Van Asten on August 7, 1947; he preceded her in death on August 12, 1974. With her husband, Patricia farmed until 1966. Survivors include sisters-in-law: Mildred Bachman, Marian Dufrane, Donna Van Asten, Marge (Edward) Belongea, Carol (Gene) Diedrick, and Mae Miller; her brothers-in-law: Floyd (Irene) Van Asten, Arthur (Jan) Van Asten and Don Roehrborn, Eugene (Marge) Van Asten; her cousin, Audrey (Hermie) Stecker; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother Buzz Miller, four brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday (TODAY), November 8, 2001, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, Appleton, with Fr. Jim Lucas officiating. Friends may call directly at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her name.
