William A. Larson, Menasha, age 50, died suddenly on Friday October 22, 2004. Bill was born April 24, 1954 to the late Theodore and Bernice (Hietpas) Larson in Little Chute, WI. He enlisted into the U.S. Air Force on June 28, 1972 and served until his honorable discharge on August 10, 1975. Bill married the former Yong Kim on July 30, 1970 at the U.S. Embassy in Korea. Together they raised two children. She survives. He was presently employed at EDL Corp. working as an Electrical Controls Engineer. Bill was a man devoted to family and church. In his earlier years, he had enjoyed working as a lay deacon and a Sunday school teacher. Bill was presently an active member of Peace United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Yong Larson; his daughter, Veronica (fiance, Jesse Burshem) Larson; his son, Ted (Amy) Larson; three brothers, Jerry (Mary) Larson, Don Larson and Jack (Lori) Larson and two sisters, Carol Quantice and Linda Sprangers. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers in law, Ron Quantice and Fred Sprangers. Bills funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Saturday October 29, 2004 at PEACE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 2300 Wisconsin Avenue, Kaukauna with Rev. Timothy J. Albrecht officiating. Friends will be received on Saturday at Church from 9 a.m. until the time of service. All are welcome to process to St. Marys Cemetery for committal prayers. Full Military Burial Rites will be performed at the cemetery by the VFW 3319. A memorial is being established in Bills name. The Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna is assisting the family. 766-2099.
