  Appleton Post Crescent Friday, October 28, 1983 Joseph B. Schlude 129 Taylor St. Kaukauna Age 80, died early Friday morning at his home. He was born September 10, 1903, in Kaukauna. He had been a Kaukauna area resident for all of his life. Mr. Schlude had been employed at Thilmany Pulp and Paper for 47 years and was a member of their Quarter Century Club. He was also a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna, and served as a trustee for the church for 25 years. He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and the Third Order of St. Francis of St. Joseph Church, Appleton. Survivors include his wife, Martha Kilishek Schlude; a son, Anthony Schlude, Kaukauna; a brother, Bernard Schlude, Kaukauna; a sister, Mary Vanden Bosch, Kaukauna. He was preceded in death by a sister. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna, with Father Mike Hoffmann officiating. Burial will be in the Parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Fargo Funeral Home, Kaukauna, from 5 until 7:30 p.m. Sunday and after 8 a.m. Monday until the time of services. There will be a 7 p.m. prayer service Sunday. A memorial for the Holy Cross Parish has been established.
