  Obit. De Pere Journal Democrat 5-8-1952 Mrs. Anton Vanderheiden, 96, on of the oldest residents of Wrightstown, died at 12:30 Saturda y morning at Green Bay after a lingering illness. Born in Belgium in March 1856, she came t o this country as an infant. Mrs. Vanderheiden lived with her family on a family farm on the south edge of Brown County an d later operated a general store with he husband in Wrighstown. She was a member of the St. Mar y court 568 of Womens Catholic Order of Foresters and of the Christian Mothers society of St . Paul's Catholic church. Active until less than a year ago she made a habit of walking four blocks to St. Paul church when the weather was fair and regularly attended meetings of the Women Foresters. She did her own cooking, worked in her garden and read, although she never wore glasses. Survivors are three sons, Frank of Wrightstown, Henry and John of Lena; a daughter, Mrs. John Juul of Crivitz; 20 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 8:30 Tuesday morning in St. Paul Catholic church. Father Augus t Broeckman offered the Requiem Mass and burial was in the church cemetery. The De Wane Funer al home was in charge of arrangements. Six grandsons were pallbearers, Arthur, Paul, Roland, Armond, and Vincent Vanderheiden and Vi ctor Freeman.
