Jansen Body is Found at Noon

Searchers dragging for the body of Sylvester Jansen, who was drowned Sunday afternoon at Waverly beach, were rewarded at 12:30 Monday afternoon, when the body was recovered about 200 feet from shore. An examination will be made by the coroner here to determine whether the death was due to drowning or other causes. Funeral services probably will be held Thursday.

      Jansen Funeral
Funeral services for Sylvester Jansen were held at 9 o'clock Thursday morning from St. John church, Little Chute, with the Rev. John Sprangers in charge. Burial was in Little Chute Catholic cemetery.
the cause of Jansen's death was found to be from drowning. There was a belief that it might have been heart disease or injury suffered when diving, but the district attorney's verdict was accidental death due to drowning.
