      Age 77, died Tuesday, September 18, 2001 at her home following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born
      October 8, 1923 in Appleton, daughter of the late Albert and Minnie (Heinritz) West. On April 19, 1947 Rosemary married
      Elroy Aerts in Appleton. The couple enjoyed 52 years of marriage together prior to his death on April 4, 1999. She ws
      employed at King's Variety Store for most of her life. Rosemary volunteered at the St. Paul Home in Kaukauna for many
      years. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna. Survivors include a brother and three sisters-in-law:
      Raymond (Nancy) West, Mildred West, Alice Mae Fahrenkrug, all of Appleton. Although Rosie had no children of her
      own, she was like a 2nd mother to nieces: Susan Ladd, Kathleen (Jerome) Thompson, Allison Fahrenkrug, Ann (Randy)
      Lamers, Lynn (Tom) Schweitzer, Wendy (Dan) Steward; nephews: Mark (Sheryl) West, Paul West and Todd West; great
      nieces and nephews: Doug (Barb) Ladd, Jomie (John) Carter, Jennifer and Sara Lamers, Aaron and Alyssa Steward,
      Becky and Kevin West, Shawna and Brad Stevens and Tommy Schweitzer; Godchildren: Leo Aerts, Paul West and Wendy
      Steward. She is further survied by very special friends: Don (Kathy) Grissman and their children: Bryan and Kevin and
      Ralph (Mary) Walsh and their son, Mike (Mary) Walsh. Rosie was preceded in death by her husband, a sister and two
      brothers-in-law: Helen (Fred) Hall, Carl Fahrenkrug and a brother, Roy West. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday
      at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Jack Mullarkey officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may
      call at The Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m.
      Saturday directly at the church until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in
      her name.
