    • Vander Heiden Funeral Is Held At Holy Cross
      Mrs. Bernard Vander Heiden, 72, route 2, Kaukauna, died about 2:45 p.m. Friday at Kaukauna Community hispital after a months illness.
      She was born July 19, 1885, in De Pere, and lived in the town of Kaukauna since 1910. She was a member of the Altar society of Holy Cross church. She and her husband celebrated their Golden Wedding annivsary on Oct. 25, 1955.
      Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Cross Catholic church, with the pastor, the Rev. Andrew J. Quella , in charge. Burial was in ST. Patrick cemetery, Sniderville. The Greenwood Funeral home was in charge of the arrangements.
      Survivors include the husband, one daughter, Mrs. Kirby Kortz, route 2, Kaukauna; four sons, Ed, De Pere, Raymond, route 2, Neenah, and Richard and Leo, both of route 2, Kaukauna; one brother, Henry Coenen, De Pere; and 23 grandchildren.
      Serving as pallbearers were Richard, Roger, Wayne Vander Heiden, William Kortz, Ronald Nytes, and James Coenen.
