Notes - Death entered the Math. Nilles home on Sunday evening and claimed as its victim the wife and mother, Mrs. Math. Nilles. Mrs. Nilles was in her usual good health on Sunday, having entertained friends, but on Sunday evening she was suddenly stricken with heart failure and passed away at 10:15.
Mrs. Nilles was born at Morrison, Wis., on Sept 25, 1866. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Schack. On Oct. 27, 1885 she was married to Math. Nilles. For over twenty-five years they have resided about two miles northwest of Hilbert Village.
She leaves to mourn her death, a husband, nine sons and six daughters, Mrs. John Pilch of Akron, Ohio; Mrs. John Escher, Mrs. James Kent of Minneapolis, Mrs. Carl Hein, Sherwood; Mrs. Ed. Deschler, Mrs. Oscar Pruess of Hilbert. Sons, John of Capco, Calif., Carl of Kiel, Joe of Green Bay, Nick and Aloysius of Akron, Ohio; Math., Edward, Lawrence and Floyd at home.
The funeral was held Thursday morning from St. Marys church and the body was laid to rest in St. Marys cemetery.
