- Obit. Kaukauna Times 10-4-1950 Henry Kerkhof, 88, a farmer in the Town of Holland for 30 years, died at 1 o'clock Friday aft ernoon at the Holy Family hospital, Manitowoc, where he had lived for the past three years. He was born in the town of Woodville, September 19, 1862, and had lived there for 55 years. t he deceased was a member of the Holy Name and St. Joseph societies at Hollandtown. Survivors are five daughters, all nuns and one son. They are Sister M. Ignatiius, Janesville , Ohio; Sister M. Everildis, St. Paul convent, Kaukauna; Sister M. Theonella, Holy Family con vent, Manitowoc; Sister M. Merilda, Sacred Heart school, Oshkosh. A son William, lives at rou te 3 Kaukauna. He has eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 9:30 Monday morning at the Greenwood Funeral home and at 10 o'c lock at St. Francis Catholic Church, Hollandtown. the Very Rev. John DeVries was in charge o f the services and burial in the parish cemetery. Honorary pall bearers were Ben and George Vande Yacht, Henry Haen, Henry Hovener, Henry Fassb ender and Lester Eiting. Active pall bearers were Francis, Wilfred, Eugene and Jerome Kerkhof , Boniface Pendergast and Quintin Gloudemans.
