Notes - Vincent G. Huss, age 90, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 at Appleton Medical Center. He was born on June 5, 1924 to the late Nicholas and Anna (Vanden Bloomen) Huss in Kaukauna. He served his country from 1942 to 1946 in the United States Marine Corps. On August 14, 1945 he married Grace Minnie Simons, who preceded him in death on January 1, 2011. Vincent was a great outdoorsman, hunting and fishing whenever and wherever he could with his family and friends, especially their Canadian fishing trips.
He is survived by his daughter, Terry (Jeffrey) Schiesl, Black Creek, grandson, Scott Schiesl, sister, Marion Ploedrel and sister in law, Phley Huss.
Vincent is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Grace, son, Michael in 1973 and daughter, Sandra in 1965, his brothers, Orville (Thelma) Huss and Lloyd Huss, his sister, Isabelle (Raymond) Whitman and his brother in law, Harry Ploedrel.
A memorial service for Vincent will be held at 5:00PM, Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N Richmond St with Chaplain Jordan Kuczwara officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
