      Wednesday, May 30, 1956

      Barney P. Berghuis

      Barney P. Berghuis, 50, route 3, Kaukauna, died at 6 o'clock this morning after a lingering illness. He was born January 18, 1906, in the Town of Buchanan.

      He is survived by his widow, two daughters, Catherine, at home; and Mrs. James Davis, Mt. Dora, Florida; two sons, Richard, Kaukauna; and Ben, Trenton, Texas; his mother, Mrs. George Berghuis, Eustis, Florida; two brothers, John, route 3, Kaukauna; and George, Albany, Georgia; four sisters, Mrs. Adolph Otte and Mrs. Albert Ashauer, route 3, Kaukauna; Mrs. William Emmers, route 4, Appleton; and Mrs. Richard Hohman, Eustis, Florida; and two grandchildren.

      Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Saturday morning at Holy Angels Catholic Church, Darboy, with burial in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 7 o'clock Thursday at the Greenwood Funeral Home, Kaukauna, where the rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock Thursday and Friday.
