Age 52, died Monday, November 7, 1983, at a Madison Hospital after a brief illness. He was born May 3, 1931 in Little Chute. He was employed as Director of Business Operations Marketing at Waushara Industries, Woutoma. He was an outstanding basketball and football player during his school years at St. John High School, Little Chute. He remained a fan of the Chicago Cubs. He attended St. Norbert College. Mr. Siebers had served in the U.S. Army for several years. He was a member of Kiwanius Club, VFW of Wautoma and the Association for Retarded Citizens.
Survivors include his wife, Anna; two daughters and sons in-law, Amy and Rick Van Landghen, Kimberly; Becky and Terry Jansen, Little Chute; four brothers, Robert W. Siebers, Brookfield; Rev. Glen F. Siebers, Green Bay; Mark P. Siebers, Brooklyn, New York; and Roger Siebers, Frankfurt, West Germany; three sisters, Mrs. Wayne [Germaine] Shillcox, Appleton; Mrs. J. Ralf [Ruth] Bewick, Rt. 5, Appleton; Mrs. Paul [Mary] Carnot, Kaukauna; three step sons, Stephen, Karl, William Drehobl; three step daughters, Margaret and Mary Drehobl and Patricia Hill; three grandchildren, Adam Van Landghen, Emily and Lisa Jansen; 13 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Siebers; two brothers, George and Paul.
A concelebrated funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute, with the Rev. Glen Siebers and the Rev. Msgr. James Vanden Hogen officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Verkuilen Funeral Home, Little Chute from 3-9 p.m. Thursday and from 9:30 a.m. Friday until the hour of service. There will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
A memorial fund has been established.
